The theme of this expo, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People's Government, is "Join Hands for a New Era, Seize New Opportunities, and Share a New Future." It aims to deepen cooperation in trade, energy, science and technology, agriculture and other fields, expand new growth areas such as green low-carbon, digital economy, and medical health.Since its establishment in 2013, the China-Arab States Expo has undergone ten spring and autumn seasons and five expos. With a flick of the wrist, by taking advantage of the opportunity of China-Arab cooperation, the China-Arab States Expo has become an important platform for China and Arab countries and regions to carry out high-level dialogue, economic and trade cooperation, and cultural exchanges, as well as an important place for exchanges between China and the Arab world in the fields of politics, diplomacy, and social and humanities. The five editions of the China-Arab States Expo in ten years have been widely recognized by the "Belt and Road" co-construction countries, including Arab countries. The China-Arab States Expo is defined as a new national open platform mainly for China and Arab countries, while also facing the world. It is the highest-level and most influential national international economic and trade exhibition in the economic and trade fields between China and Arab countries.President Xi Jinping has sent congratulatory letters to the CAIE for five consecutive editions, extending warm congratulations on the holding of the conference and setting forth high expectations for the CAIE, which has defined the national mission and historical responsibility of the CAIE and pointed the way forward for the mechanism and sustainability of the CAIE.

Invited by the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition, Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau has set up a Xiamen Pavilion Exhibition Area at the Exhibition, and selected 10 outstanding enterprises in Xiamen to showcase the latest scientific and technological achievements.
